THE OFFICIAL WEB PORTAL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OFDuring the 51st Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan held on July 28, 2026, Resolution No. 304, Series of 2026, entitled: “A Resolution Adopting the Implementation of the Safer School Zones (SSZ) Program in the Municipality of Santo Domingo, Ilocos Sur, Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-037 Entitled ‘Safer School Zones (SSZ) under the Safer Cities and Safer Communities Initiative,'” was duly approved.
The resolution was sponsored by Hon. Giovanni V. Velasco, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, and co-sponsored by Hon. Mark Denver P. Alvarado, Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Education.
The approval of this legislative measure signifies the Municipality’s commitment to supporting the implementation of the Safer School Zones (SSZ) Program, a national initiative aimed at promoting safer, more secure, and child-friendly school environments.
